Non-smoking Sporthotel

In keeping with cantonal statutory regulations the Sporthotel Valsana is run as a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is permitted in front of the hotel, on the hotel terrace, and on the balconies of the guest rooms. We thank you for your understanding.

Your Faithful Companion

We charge CHF 20 a day for your dog, excl. dog food. We wish to draw your attention to the fact that dogs are not allowed in the restaurants, the wellness area with indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and relaxation rooms, and in the Kiddies’ Club.

Packages

The hotel reserves the right to set aside a certain number of rooms for packages. Rooms may therefore no longer be available for the package of your choice. Unclaimed services cannot be reimbursed. The hotel accepts no liability for outside services provided by third parties.

Arrival & Departure

Your room will be allocated within the confirmed category subject to availability and will be available from 15.00 hrs on the day of your arrival. Your Valsana room is available until 12 noon on the day of your departure. If you would like to check in before 15.00 hrs, we recommend that you reserve the room a day earlier. The full room rate will then be invoiced; similarly, if you choose to vacate the room after 12 noon on your day of departure. Should you want to keep your room until 15.00 hrs on your day of departure, we are happy to accommodate your wishes with a 50% discount on the room rate. All reservations are to be confirmed in writing and guaranteed by credit card. Reservations that are neither guaranteed nor confirmed may be released for re-letting from 18.00 hrs unless you notify us of your intentions.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation
Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 30 days before your arrival. Thereafter the hotel reserves the right to charge 50% of the day-package rate/full package rate up to 15 days before your arrival; 100% of the day package rate/package rate up to 14 days before your arrival, should we be unable to re-let your room.

Cancellation at Christmas/New Year
Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 90 days before your arrival. Thereafter the hotel reserves the right to charge 50% of the day-package rate/full package rate up to 61 days before your arrival; 100% of the day-package rate/full package rate up to 30 days before your arrival, should we be unable to re-let your room.

Changes to or cancellation of the booking
Early departure and/or later arrival are regarded as a no-show; any day packages missed as a result will be invoiced in full unless the change to the reservation or the cancellation are notified in writing within 30 days of your arrival. We will of course do our utmost to re-let the room so that you incur no charges. However, should we be unable to re-let your room, we reserve the right to charge the full price of the room/package rate.

Reservation Guarantee

Once confirmed by the hotel, all reservations must be reconfirmed and signed by the guest. Each reservation must also be guaranteed with a credit card or deposit.

Travel Cancellation Insurance

To save you unnecessary costs, we offer travel cancellation insurance with ELVIA and are happy to send you an information pack. Please note however that the insurance is valid only if it is taken out within 8 days of your definitive reservation confirmation.
